We've been inspired by some of the Fall and Winter trends for the season.  The new Nordies catalog has a lot of cameos and jet black beads.  The green cameo necklace was designed by  Sonnie Owens Jewelry.  And the cute silhouette is from Disneyland.  We came up with some of our own textile versions... traditional with a modern twist.  The silhouette and cameo have always been an obsession of mine.  I made these embroidered silhouettes of my children last year for Christmas gifts to the grandparents.  I had some extras so I decided to incorporate them into fabric jewelry.  Our friend Susanne has some fabulous textile jewelry and we love them so much that we decided to make them the November project, just in time for holiday gifts.

Yvonne and I really try to keep the studio nice and tidy before classes begin.  Luckily we don't have many rooms to clean.  And with 120 square feet, things can get a little messy.   Especially with a gaggle of seven young girls.  We've started our costume class for the month of October.  We still have our Monday class to fill if anyone is interested in signing up, we are going to give a discount.  We're talkin' about $110 per child for four (4) Monday sessions.  Monday is just around the corner so let us know!

Also, we are going to be open this Saturday Night, October 3 for the South Park Walkabout starting around 6:00 - ish.  Come by and visit us.  We're going to have fire and flowers on our walls!!!!!  Brooke and Jason Evans are the very first artists for our "support our local artists series".
