It seems like only yesterday that the season premiere of Mad Men happened and now the season finale is over.  Just like the month of November.  Time seems to accelerate to the next year when November comes around and the holidays are just around the corner.  Just 6 weeks ago we began our costume series for our kids' classes!

We've started our new series, the silhouette textile jewelry and day 1 was a very exciting day for everyone because they learned a new craft... needle felting.  I believe it was the first time we didn't hear the humming sound of sewing machines.  We'll break out the machines soon enough but it was a nice change to our regularly scheduled programming.

The clothes clothes clothes series on Sundays are quite productive.  Here is Karina with her Japanese pattern tunic dress.

Yvonne and I really try to keep the studio nice and tidy before classes begin.  Luckily we don't have many rooms to clean.  And with 120 square feet, things can get a little messy.   Especially with a gaggle of seven young girls.  We've started our costume class for the month of October.  We still have our Monday class to fill if anyone is interested in signing up, we are going to give a discount.  We're talkin' about $110 per child for four (4) Monday sessions.  Monday is just around the corner so let us know!

Also, we are going to be open this Saturday Night, October 3 for the South Park Walkabout starting around 6:00 - ish.  Come by and visit us.  We're going to have fire and flowers on our walls!!!!!  Brooke and Jason Evans are the very first artists for our "support our local artists series".
