Thank you to Albert Einstein Academies and the San Diego French American school for a wonderful experience! I cannot believe that this endeavor of ours has reached it's one year milestone. We have had THE BEST time teaching your children and we're glad that they have learned to love sewing, knitting and crochet. It is an accomplishing feeling to influence our youth with positive skills and activities. Most of our students have started with us and finished the year with us and it brings tears of joy to my eyes when a 7 year old girl can sit down at a machine, thread the machine and start a project with minimal supervision. I hope all the parents are really proud of their accomplishments.
Our last project for the SDFA school is our hand puppet class and the AEA school is now available for online registration. We will be sewing a girls tunic and leggings. Sign up online here.
We are happy to announce that we have added an afternoon summer camp class at the SDFA School. We will be sewing a simple plush bear. This is part of the Tour du Monde program and is open to the public. Sign ups are administered via Valerie Asencio (program coordinator for the SDFA school). Go here for Valerie Asencio's contact information. We have two camp weeks at the school in June and July.
We also have two camps at our studio in South Park in August. Go here to sign up.
