Payment Policy
Due to the limitation of 6 people per class, spots are reserve only (no walk-ins). Reserve a spot by paying with credit card online here or call 619-279-6379 to verbally reserve a spot and pay with cash or check the day of the class. Thanks!
All fees must be payable up front and are non-refundable. Missed classes may be transferred to another available date. Classes are for 2 to 6 people. All materials included in fee. If you have your own machine, it is recommended that you bring it AND please allow 15 minutes before class starts to set it up.
PRIVATE LESSONS. One on one instruction can be made by appointment (email us or call 619-279-6379). We will go over the basic anatomy of the machine, practice sewing and then sew one of our basic sew projects. Rate is $30/hour.
OPEN SEW CLASSES. These classes are intended for people who already took the basic sew classes and are proficient with starting a more advanced project. You may bring your own project to these classes. You must have working knowledge of machine sewing in order to use our studio for independent projects. There will be MINIMAL supervision. RATE is $15/hour.
Description of Skill:
Basic Sew - for the novice and beginners; first 50 minutes will go over basic machine anatomy and practice on the machine. Students will then sew the project for the duration of the class.
Intermediate Sew - Students MUST have working knowledge of machine sewing. Projects are a bit more advanced than the basic project. There is NO basic instruction for the intermediate projects. Students will start with cutting their patterns and fabric and will work with MINIMAL supervision.
