Due to the limitation of 6 people per class, spots are reserve only (no walk-ins). We prefer that you reserve a spot by paying with credit card online here. Email us at homeecstudio@yahoo.com for more information. Thanks!
All fees must be payable up front and are non-refundable. Missed classes may be transferred to another available date. Classes are for 2 to 6 people. All materials included in fee. If you have your own machine, it is recommended that you bring it AND please allow 15 minutes before class starts to set it up.

Description of Skill:
Basic Sew - for the novice and absolute beginners; first 50 minutes will go over basic machine anatomy and practice on the machine. Students will then sew the project for the duration of the class.
Intermediate Sew - Students MUST have working knowledge of machine sewing. This includes, winding the bobbin and threading the machine to get it ready for sewing. You also must know how to keep a straight seam allowance. Projects are a bit more advanced than the basic project. There is NO basic instruction for the intermediate projects. Students will start with cutting their patterns and fabric and will work with MINIMAL supervision.

Students will learn how to box the corners of the pouch to add a depth. They will also learn how to install a zipper foot and sew on a zipper. A great class for the absolute beginner and novice and for those who need a refresher course in machine sewing. All materials are provided.

Once you've learned the basics, where do you go from there? This is the perfect class for our continuing students who want to learn more sewing techniques. This garment class specializes in sewing on stretch fabric, specifically jersey knit. In this class, Yvonne will go over what kind of needles to use and also what stitches to use when sewing this slightly challenging fabric. And once you've mastered the jersey knit the doors will open to other garments like bathing suits and gym wear. You must have the basic knowledge of how to use your machine in order to take this class.
